CYCLING ROUTES

Here you can find our favorite cycling routes which you can do from the Chalet. You can download the routes on Strava. Did you cycle them all then you can find some more routes on the strava from Pim (check my routes). Also you can join our Auberge la cure – Chalet 800 club on Strava

THIS WEEKS CLUB ACTIVITIES

Col d’Ornon (1371 m.)

With a lengthe of 43 kilometers and 800 climbing meters this is the easiest climb in our region.

A pleasant climb for the first day with a beautiful descent. 


Alpe d’Huez (1850 m.)

Lengthe of 45 kilometers and 1250 meters of climbing.

The 21 bends of Alpe d’Huez need to be concurred at least once.

Villard Notre Dame (1550 m.)

Lengthe of 45 kilometers and 980 meters of climbing.

Climb with beautiful scenery to the old village of Notre Dame.

You need to bring your head torch for the tunnels.

La Berarde (1738 m.)

Lengthe of 92 kilometers and 1200 meters of climbing.

Beautiful road to the national parc Des Ecrins.

Croix de Fer (2067 m.) and Glandon (1924 m.)

Lengthe of 55 kilometers and 1650 meters of climbing.

These 2 famous mountain passes have been featured many times in de  Tour de France.

Col du Sabot (2100 m.)

Lengthe of 35 kilometers and 1465 meters of climbing.

One of the toughest climbs in the region but still unknown.

Definitly worth a try

La Morte (1360 m.) and Col d’Ornon (1367 m.)

Lengthe  of 107 kilometers and 2000 meters of climbing.

beautiful lap over unknown mountain passes with a pleasent rate of increase.

Lautaret (2058 m.) and Galibier (2646 m.)

Lengthe of 121 kilometers and 2100 meters of climbing.

The highest mountain pass in the aerea and one of the highest of Europe.

La Marmotte

Lengthe of 175 kilometers and 5000 meters of climbing.

The Marmotte is a very tough cyclosportive that passes 4 high mountain passes; Glandon, Télégraphe, Galibier and Alpe d’Huez.
